Kellan Kyle

Thoughtless (Thoughtless, #1)Thoughtless by S.C. Stephens

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

4.5*

I liked the story but hated Kiera, how can it be ... a girl at 21 that never set goals in her life, doesn' t know what she wants to do, just blushing so many times and always irritated, such an annoying pain. She doesn't function alone I think, she needs a gps not two beautiful guys that fell in love with what? What? So coward, so selfish... Well it's was a long story, sometimes repeating itself, closer to the end of the book I felt it was a little bit rushed... but overall my hate toward Kiera, I'm curious about what could possible happen in the next book. I don't like hating so I' m hoping Kiera changes.

Jesse Ward

This Man (This Man, #1)This Man by Jodi Ellen Malpas

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Well I have some questions to ask crazy Jesse if Ava doesn't in the second book! Come on girl, talk!

I can't believe some girl at twenty six or so would love a stalker, a control freak, a liar, an impossible man, just for his looks, ok sure he is a sex bomb!

God or not he would scared me, or made me laugh...seriously! I either had to laugh or smack him hard and run!

Where are the pills Ava, if I was 26 I'll be pissed if I didn't find them and use a condom instead, pregnancy alert your way full speed!

Ava's work; to meet people or clients she has to do some work before, right? Know their history, but she doesn't... Ava are you blind?

This girl has been manipulated, controlled, lied to repeatedly.
Ask him the things you want, he saw every corner of you used every bit and you still only ask his age?

I like Jesse's story and I know he is fucked up, I know there's much to learn about him, let's hope she wants to know more too, but at this time Ava doesn't have a clue of what to do, I'm hoping she grows in time, on the 2nd book!

Beneath This Man (This Man, #2)Beneath This Man by Jodi Ellen Malpas

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Jesse is an impossible man! He is controlling, a stalker, so arrogant, unbelievable unreasonable, crazy ... going insane.

Something drives him to be like that...

Has an obsessive personality, not that it would be the only excuse for him, he seems broken. He believes Ava is the only one who cans save him, but then he runs to Sarah?... Needs physical pain to wash away all the problems?

Still lying, not talking about it, doesn't think she needs to know afraid? Doesn't like Ava's swearing? I think he does like!

Cheating, deceiving... the pills again... the drinking issue... who turns to another woman in your time of need ... but think Ava is the one?

And Ava please grow up... frustrating girl wanting to be a woman. I can't seem to like her more in this book ...I just wanted to strangle her... :)

Maybe she's insane like Jesse and forgives him because she doesn't know anything else... towards the end she tries to get straight in to his mind, playing the same game, made me like her a little more but still isn't enough. Let's see I'm curious for the 3rd book!

And the countdown! ****

I had a few good laughs of how this was so f... up!

Ohhh and the rowing machine! That, I liked! :) Made me read that scene more than once!

Last , thinking of all the others characters, I really like John!
He is the only normal... "S'all good!"

Describe your sorrows and desires

Describe your sorrows and desires, the thoughts that pass through your mind and your belief in some kind of beauty – describe all these with heartfelt, silent, humble sincerity and, when you express yourself, use the Things around you, the images from your dreams, and the objects that you remember.

If your everyday life seems poor, don’t blame it; blame yourself; admit to yourself that you are not enough of a poet to call forth its riches; because for the creator there is not poverty and no poor, indifferent place.

And even if you found yourself in some prison, whose walls let in none of the world’s sounds – wouldn’t you still have your childhood, that jewel beyond all price, that treasure house of memories? Turn your attentions to it. Try to raise up the sunken feelings of this enormous past; your personality will grow stronger, your solitude will expand and become a place where you can live in the twilight, where the noise of other people passes by, far in the distance. — And if out of this turning-within, out of this immersion in your own world, poems come, then you will not think of asking anyone whether they are good or not.

Nor will you try to interest magazines in these works: for you will see them as your dear natural possession, a piece of your life, a voice from it. A work of art is good if it has arisen out of necessity. That is the only way one can judge it.

Much better than Fifty :)

Bared to You (Crossfire, #1)Bared to You by Sylvia Day

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Christian, you have to go! Your married and a father, so...

Well hello Mr.Cross!

Better written than FSOG, I like it a lot more!
This is what FSOG should be.. in my opinion.

Christian Grey CG and Gideon Cross GC get it? I don't know what the author was going for but I was curious to find out!

The dialogue is built with power, so intense!Love it!
Sex is smoking hot!

They are a broken couple, but one thing I like, they talk about it,
when they feel uncomfortable they say it, no games!

Looking forward to know more about this Crossfire :)

Reflected in You (Crossfire, #2)Reflected in You by Sylvia Day

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Their relationship it's a struggle, so many scars,
insecurities, but they know and understand their issues and they want to work things out!

That was a emotional rollercoaster for me, I was laughing, then I was in pain, with anxiety, sometimes exhausted, but end up listening to the audiobook till morning!

Loving all the characters, all the mystery, the jealousy, there is something behind, if you see it it's all in the details... I need to read the next book to find out!

Entwined with You (Crossfire, #3)Entwined with You by Sylvia Day

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Still in the rollercoaster emotions!

Would you kill for love?

Well if someone threatened me or hurt me,
I would want that special someone to protect me and do whatever he need to do to stop it! But then... consequences, more trouble, more separation when they need to be together...
What the hell is going on? And I mean with all the characters, I'm worried!

And you'll find out when the next book comes out!

It's not a trilogy anymore... I'm curious though.

Damien Stark

Release Me (Stark Trilogy, #1)Release Me by J. Kenner

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I picked up this one for it's similarity story to FSoG, Crossfire series, you know! But it was very different!

It's very well written. I loved the passion, the story it self.
I go along with what the author describes and I feel like I'm there seeing and feeling everything!

Nikki is strong and sticks up for herself but never seems to know it! She's smart, educated, a science geek :) and says “no” and she means it! Cool Nikki!

Damien is a very private person keeping his personal life out of the spotlight, he's like a celebrity but with no games when it comes to Nikki, his love for her is intense but it's love all the away.
He's charming, irresistible, but also a man that get what he wants still.

Their relationship takes the time to know one another, outside and inside, not like in any obsessive kind of way! Not forced nor rushed! It was nice for a change!

Of course they both had some difficult childhood, but they are both talented and have succeed in their lives, well Nikki dreams about it, wants it and with Damien's help they will fight the shadows from their past together ... well I hope so because Damien is hiding a little too much his past from Nikki and us readers too.

Claim Me (Stark Trilogy, #2)Claim Me by J. Kenner

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I had this book right after I read the first, anxious to know what will happen at the end of the contract.

We dig deeper into them two.
We know a little more about Damien. Hot, dangerous and steamy Damien!

Nikki wants to tell Damien all of her secrets, she's falling in love with him, wants to support him, wants to make their relationship work.

Damien's past starts catching up with him and it's affecting his work, well, everything in his life. He's afraid that Nikki will walk away.
He's very protective of her, maybe too much and she's starting to be unsure and the need for pain comes back to haunt her. She's almost out of control, but still strong, maybe because of her friends... I don't know where it comes from... but she fights through and the more she knows him, makes her want and love him even more.

Nikki rules!

I liked the story a lot!

It's a shocking ending but well worth the wait and will make us readers, anticipating the next book.

Oh!

O Despertar da Bela Adormecida (Sleeping Beauty #1)O Despertar da Bela Adormecida by A.N. Roquelaure

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I don't remember when I read it! But it was a long time ago!
I was curious about the title, how it was related to Sleeping Beauty.
I like Anne Rice's work but I was expecting something different.
This wasn't what I expected at all, didn't know I was going to read an erotic book, my first!
This book took me to a dark place and was damn hard to read! Well written yes, but my imagination was going crazy weird...
I tried several times to read it!
Torture, pain, rape, spanking, struggle, too much!
At that time I was exhausted and I didn't read the other two.

Maybe I will now! :) It still is a good book if you have a open mind and really know what you're getting in to!

My point of view

Yeah you seen it everywhere, I was curious to see what was all about, so here we go:

Fifty Shades of Grey (Fifty Shades, #1)Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L. James

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Ok, so I start to read The Sleeping Beauty Trilogy - a series of three novels written by Anne Rice under the pseudonym of A. N. Roquelaure. The trilogy comprises The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty, Beauty's Punishment and Beauty's Release, I just couldn't get through the first... it's in my book shelf I'm staring at it right now and it makes me freeze...The novel describe explicit sexual adventures of the female protagonist Beauty and the male characters Alexi, Tristan and Laurent, featuring both maledom and femdom scenarios amid vivid imageries of bisexuality, homosexuality, ephebophilia and pony play.

I know I know I'm getting to the review...

It's was torture sometimes I was in a dark, dark place... so when Fifty Shades came around I thought i'd give it a try and it was easy breezy, not that well written, ok, (I found better afterwards) but it made me laugh that a young woman could be so naive, liked the story very much, really softer than the Sleeping beauty attack... I just didn't get all the emails, they happen more in the 2nd book but they could send text messages by phone, smartphone, what was that about the emails? :)

Fan made...this was just perfect, you won't be disappointed... even the music ...

Starting from scratch, a different emotion, another point of view

Your Bookshelf

I care not how humble your bookshelf may be, nor how lowly the room which it adorns. Close the door of that room behind you, shut off with it all the cares of the outer world, plunge back into the soothing company of the great dead, and then you are through the magic portal into that fair land whither worry and vexation can follow you no more. You have left all that is vulgar and all that is sordid behind you.

There stand your noble, silent comrades, waiting in their ranks. Pass your eye down their files. Choose your man. And then you have but to hold up your hand to him and away you go together into dreamland.

Surely there would be something eerie about a line of books were it not that familiarity has deadened our sense of it. Each is a mummified soul embalmed in cere-cloth and natron of leather and printer’s ink. Each cover of a true book enfolds the concentrated essence of a man. The personalities of the writers have faded into the thinnest shadows, as their bodies into impalpable dust, yet here are their very spirits at your command.

Arthur Conan Doyle
